training session its outline as:

Try to arrive 15 minutes before class to stretch and be ready 

  • Flexibility- Every class starts with 15 minutes of stretches  to improve flexibility and balance.

  • Warm ups- Warm up with basic  capoeira movements and exercises .

  • Techniques- Practice kicks, sweeps, takedowns, strikes and dodges. Sequences are then added and practiced in partners 

  •  Music- Learn how to play capoeira  instruments; such as pandeiro, atabaque, berimbau and agogo.    Singing and clapping accompany the instruments. 
  •  Floreios:  Accrobatic movements that can be used as scapes, dodges or even defensive techniques 
  • Roda- At the end of the class we have a roda(circle) where  student(capoeirista) apply what he/she has learned through out the class.
